Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm with offices across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Patent Support Billing Specialist to join our dynamic Intellectual Property team.
This role involves close interaction with firm lawyers, legal and business staff, and clients. The ideal candidate will prioritize multiple projects, work well in a team, and occasionally work overtime.
Morgan Lewis offers flexible work arrangements. This position can be based in San Francisco, Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), Orange County, Century City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, or Washington D.C., with a hybrid schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Generating and distributing demand and monthly proformas to billing lawyers.
Processing edits, transfers, and changes as directed.
Producing draft bills for approval.
Collaborating with billing lawyers and staff to prepare final client bills.
Researching client account activities, resolving billing inquiries, and generating reports.
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in accounting or relevant certification preferred.
Minimum of two years of Elite billing experience.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., in Century City, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Seattle: $64,700 - $103,475; Chicago: $59,300 - $94,850; San Francisco/Silicon Valley: $67,400 - $107,825; Washington, D.C.: $62,000 - $99,200. Final salary will depend on experience and other factors. Benefits include a discretionary bonus, 401(k), health insurance, paid holidays, personal days, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and more. Specific benefit details will be provided upon offer.
