Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new emerging business in transportation. We are a startup team looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-obsessed individual to help create and lead the Business Development strategy. The ideal candidate will be excited by launching a new program from its inception and will have experience in leading sales generation with both small and large customers. We are reinventing the approach to selling in this industry and seek a candidate who can collaborate with Product Management and Tech teams to challenge the status quo and innovate for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue, adoption, and market share for our product.

Build trust with customers and recommend solutions that meet their business needs.

Measure performance, analyze root causes, and suggest improvements.

Relay market needs and customer feedback to internal Amazon teams, including Product Management and Technical teams.

Create program goals and metrics, track progress, and navigate obstacles to achieve objectives.

Assess risks, anticipate challenges, and manage escalations as needed.

Meet or exceed targets for customer and feature adoption.

Daily Activities

Engage both internally and externally to understand customer pain points, generate strategic solutions, and drive product adoption through active sales tactics.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguity and at a fast pace.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defining and leading complex program initiatives with customers.
