The Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing will be a key leader within our procurement team, developing and leading a center-led US category management organization responsible for establishing and executing strategies to optimize external spend for all indirect categories
We are looking for an experienced, high potential, procurement expert to drive internal collaboration, compliance with best practices, and continuous value creation.
You will...- Leverage expertise, market dynamics and business objectives to develop short and long-term roadmap for optimizing the indirect procurement operating model and external spend
- Partner with cross-functional leaders in building effective sourcing strategies across a wide range of categories based on rigorous analysis and involving all relevant stakeholders
- Lead complex sourcing events and negotiations across all indirect categories
- Implement frameworks for the management of strategic supplier and internal relationships
- Build long-term system and process improvement plan enabling best in class Procure-to-Pay transaction management. Identify opportunities to automate, improve compliance, and increase spend transparency
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators/scorecards for suppliers, actively engage stakeholders in the process to ensure the relevant indicators are understood and tracked
- Collaborate with wide-range of cross-functional leaders to identify value creation opportunities and build effective sourcing strategies
- Develop, track and execute a pipeline of initiatives and benefits
- Direct complex sourcing events and negotiations across all indirect categories
- Monitor procurement performance against strategic goals
- Lead a team of associates in identifying, prioritizing, and executing value creation opportunities across all indirect categories

You have...
- Total of 7+ years of experience in procurement and sourcing, consulting experience preferred
- BA/BS degree in business, supply chain or related discipline, CPM certification a plus, MBA a plus
- A successful track record of value creation from data-driven insights in sourcing or supply chain
- Vast knowledge and interest in strategic sourcing and continuous improvement processes with demonstrated experience in spend analysis, managing sourcing events, and generating value
- Strong quantitative and analytical experience (either through education or professional experience), including expertise withExcel and procurement systems, G-Suite a plus
- Professional training in negotiation practices a plus
- Experience managing and leading a team of direct and indirect reports
- Flexibility to travel (up to 25%) and flexibility to work weekends as required (2-3x per quarter)
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite a plus
