Nelsen Corporation is seeking a self-motivated, collaborative Water Treatment Support Technician to join our Technical Services Team. Supporting our Sales Team and customers with water treatment systems, the ideal candidate has experience in the water industry and enjoys helping others solve problems. Working under the general direction of the Technical Services Manager, this position provides training, troubleshooting, and offers expert advice for everything from home water systems to larger commercial equipment. Work Shift and Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. No weekends. Pay: From $60,000 per year; pay commensurate with experience and skills. On the first of the month after 60 days:

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSales Team Support:
- Teach Sales Team members how to handle basic technical questions from their customers
- Be a point of contact for questions regarding commercial reverse osmosis (RO) systems
- Troubleshoot water treatment systems, including chemical dosing, softeners, filters, and smaller RO units
- Attend vendor training sessions, sharing information learned with the Sales Team
Marketing Collaboration:
- Help keep the technical resources on our website up to date
- Review product information, ensuring information is accurate and easy to understand
- Assist with writing or updating service manuals and other technical documents
Teamwork:
- Train both coworkers and customers on products and services
- Work with the Marketing Team to clearly explain technical details
- Build good working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and other departments

- Ability to solve problems through looking at the data and thinking things through
- Comfortable following instructions in writing, pictures, or diagrams
Work Environment:
- Primarily in an office setting, using computers, phones, software applications and other standard equipment

Qualifications and Competencies:What We're Looking For:
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and influence through teamwork and collaboration
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
- Motivated, organized, and good time management
- Must pass a background check and urine drug screening, in accordance with applicable state law
Experience and Education:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the water treatment industry
- WQA certification (or similar certification or credential) a plus
- Achieve WQA Certified Treatment Designer certification within one year of hire
