Job Title:Industrial Maintenance Technician – $25–$32/hr – Richmond, VAJob Description:Staffworks Group is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a major food manufacturer in Richmond and Chesterfield County, VA. These are temp-to-hire roles on the 2nd shift (3 PM–11:30 PM) with weekend availability required.Candidates must have mechanical aptitude, be comfortable in fast-paced environments, and pass a background check and drug test.Pay: $25–$32/hr DOEShifts: 2nd shift (some weekend/overtime)Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Use tools like welders, grinders, and torque wrenches
- Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout
- Maintain repair logs and report equipment issues
Qualifications:
- 2+ years industrial maintenance or mechanical repair (preferred)
- Trade school or certifications a plus
- Comfortable lifting 75 lbs and working in variable temperatures
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Experience working on vehicles or machinery is a plus
