With design and manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia, we have become the preferred provider of high voltage power solutions for OEMs pushing the boundaries of technology around the world by designing and producing the products they need to power progress.What You Will DoTest Technicians setup, calibrate, test and troubleshoot on a variety of high voltage power supplies and electronic sub-assemblies to assembly level. They are expected to be knowledgeable in electronic circuitry and have knowledge of variety of testing methods and tools.
- Performing routine tasks as directed and under close supervision. Communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement.
- Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure completed units meet customer specifications for performance and safety in accordance with Product Acceptance Test Procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies. Record Functional Data during the various testing phases, analyzing results for test validity
- Collaborates with Test Engineering to help develop test procedure and strategies
- Expected to be able to operate various types of measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital meters, auto testers, signal generators, special test fixtures etc.
What You Need
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
- Certification in Electronics from a trade school, or
- An associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electronics technology is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
- Must have in-depth understanding of electronic theory and electrical circuitry
- 2 years minimum testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
- Read and understand schematics and circuits
- Able to troubleshoot down to component level
- Able to work from a written test procedure (ATP)
- Soldering skills
- Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Experience in High Voltage Power Supplies environment a plus
Our good faith estimate of the hourly rate for this role is $24.92- $32.12. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
