SUMMARY This is a fast-paced and physically engaging position where you will safely load, unload, and efficiently move products, and provide legendary service to the customer. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 6 am - 3 pm OT and schedule changes are possible during the busy season. Flexibility with hours is desired.DUTIES:
- Stack and organize materials for easy access and inventory control.
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Bands lumber products for storage or shipping
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by picking up debris, sweeping, and ensuring materials are properly stored.
- Assist customers and drivers in locating and loading products and materials.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to inventory or product availability
- Assist with inventory counts and reporting shortages or damages to management.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned, be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6 months of recent work history in a light-industrial / warehouse environment
- Highly prefer 6 months of working Forklift experience
- Basic math functions
- Able to consistently stand, move, bend, and lift to 50 lbs during the entire shift.
- Ability to positively and professionally interact with customers and coworkers.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects intermittently and moving quickly between tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must have a high awareness of safety at all times
- Able to work in all weather conditions, possibly loud noises, and moving mechanical equipment.
