What You'll Do:

As the Risk Manager & Quality Assurance Coordinator (RN), you will play a vital leadership role in maintaining safety, care, and compliance standards in our long-term care community. Your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing clinical documentation and care processes to ensure residents receive appropriate, person-centered care.
  • Conducting investigations into incidents and accidents, ensuring resident safety and follow-up.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with New York regulations and best practices.
  • Leading and participating in QAPI meetings and audits to promote quality improvement.
  • Providing staff education through orientation, in-services, and training on infection control, incident reporting, compliance, and technology.
  • Monitoring clinical outcomes and safety data to identify patterns and implement improvements.
  • Staying current with regulatory changes and quality standards in New York to ensure proactive compliance.
  • Representing the community during meetings and regulatory visits as needed.
  • Performing additional duties to support resident safety and care excellence.

Rate of PayUSD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.-

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications include:

  • Active RN license in New York
  • 3+ years of experience in a long-term care setting
  • 2+ years in risk management and QAPI roles
  • Compassion for elderly and chronically ill residents
  • Strong clinical knowledge and judgment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
