They ensure the accuracy of records in the inventory tracking system to include the count, cost, and retail pricing of each item. Job duties include hands-on functions, data entry, report generation, and other administrative duties as assigned. Attention to detail is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Talicn and Core Values.
- Daily monitoring of retail inventory par levels to minimize out-of-stock merchandise and/or supplies.
- Receives orders to ensure that only items ordered are received and excess inventory is returned to vendor.
- Check dates of all dated items to ensure first-in first-out rotation of retail items.
- Assist clerks with stocking shelves, coolers, and freezers.
- Set up daily and weekly cycle counts for high-risk inventory items utilizing inventory tracking system tools.
- Ensure daily/weekly cycle counts are completed by assigned team members. Perform test counts of results to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure that full inventory counts are scheduled with either a third-party service or organized using fellow team members.
- Submit inventory adjustments to Store Manager or Finance for processing in the inventory tracking system.
- Scan all invoices for upload to the inventory tracking system.
- Manually enter invoices if required and resolve issues with retail pricing in inventory tracking system.
- Ensure cost, retail price and counts of all retail items is accurate.
- Verify that all items on the retail floor have accurate pricing and labels that mirror the inventory tracking system and point-of-sale terminal.
- Record, track and ensure timely delivery of store credits from vendors.
- Prepares daily, monthly, and ad hoc reports as assigned.
- Assist management with weekly cash deposits.
- Attends required company training and meetings.
- Comply with all laws, rules, department policies and procedures.
- Maintain site appearance standards.
- Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all assigned areas.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- High School Diploma/GED/RED/FHD.
- One (1) year's experience in a high-volume retail store environment.
- One (1) year's experience in a position responsible for ordering, receiving, and inventory controls.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standard.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
- Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

Preferred Qualifications:- Previous Casino Convenience Store experience.
- Experience with Stratton Warren.
