Moog, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain CI Transformation Lead.

You will report to the Commercial Aircraft Group Global Supplier Development Manager. You will support the supplier development teams by defining, planning, and facilitating events using lean methodologies. Your role involves supporting the global strategy for supplier development, including defining, implementing, and sustaining performance transformational activities through continuous improvements of strategic and critical suppliers. You should be familiar with supply chain complexities, advanced lean methodologies, and facilitating complex improvement events. The location can be East Aurora, NY (preferred) or at one of our Global CAG locations.

Responsibilities:

Deliver RCCA plans at supplier sites to resolve quality or delivery conflicts efficiently.

Influence and steer supplier action plans for Moog and its customers.

Facilitate and develop development efforts with strategic and critical suppliers.

Support strategic supplier development plans to ensure high performance, engaging leadership of key suppliers to initiate improvement programs.

Lead Kaizen events onsite at suppliers focusing on root cause analysis, workflow visualization, and waste reduction.

Develop internal best practices and standard work for risk mitigation and supplier performance transformation.

Candidate Requirements:

• BA or BS degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, supplier quality, or related areas.
• Minimum of 5 years in process development leadership, operational excellence/CI management, or lean facilitation/coaching.
• Ability to influence both suppliers and internal teams for transformational change.
• Experience with supplier contracting and dealings.
• Knowledge of AS9145, APQP, PPAP standards and methodologies (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills (A3, 8D, DMAIC, etc.).
• Lean Six Sigma Certification (desired).
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Salary Range:

Buffalo, NY: $80,000 - $120,000 annually

Additional Information:

The salary range is indicative and may vary depending on location, experience, and performance. Other rewards include bonuses, stock purchase plans, and region-specific benefits. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
