Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Process Consultant to join our team. This role is vital for mapping and documenting business processes, analyzing workflows, and supporting projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure processes align with business goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information on existing workflows and procedures from stakeholders.
  • Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and user guides.
  • Maintain and update documentation reflecting business changes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support process redesign and best practice implementation.
  • Ensure processes meet business goals and compliance standards.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized repository of process documentation.
  • Promote documentation standards and consistency across departments.
  • Train staff on accessing and utilizing process documentation.
  • Document processes for new systems or initiatives.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews with accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT, editorial, production, and finance teams for cross-functional alignment.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in process improvement, control, development, and analysis.
  • Experience in publishing or music/entertainment industry.
  • Strong background in business process documentation.
  • Skilled in using documentation tools and software, including flowcharting and SOP tools.
  • Knowledge of finance, publishing, reporting, and forecasting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, working in EST. Candidates from the West Coast are not eligible. The role offers exposure to royalty accounting and company-wide projects, working closely with the CFO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and PTO. Eligibility depends on employment status and plan specifics.
