Description

Our team focuses on supporting cloud infrastructure services. Each year, we power dozens of features for our machine learning and computer vision teams. With the rapid growth of data needs, collaboration with key partners such as engineering teams, program offices, leadership, and finance is crucial. This role involves managing vendor-supported security and quality testing, audits, and compliance reviews. You will track and raise awareness of major platform release and security milestones across our emerging health platform, and lead communications regarding the current state of our software and tooling for engineers. The role includes ownership of documentation aligned with Apple's Information Security and Privacy Teams, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the protection of health data.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • 5+ years managing complex, cross-functional security or QA projects.
  • 5+ years managing a portfolio of vendor support in security or QA.
  • 2+ years of direct management experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and success influencing without authority.
  • Proven ability to facilitate understanding of processes, share information via documentation, and drive collaborative execution.
  • Understanding of software development processes, tools, and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Hands-on experience with software development and web technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals.
  • Ability to analyze technical details.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, curious, proactive, with critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Ability to clarify ambiguities, develop plans, prioritize, anticipate risks, and communicate concerns effectively.
