ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
- Be knowledgeable about the product.
- Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
- Answer questions about the products.
- Negotiate prices and terms.
- Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
- Review customers' credit status and collect monies owed.
- Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community.
- Must provide own transportation, valid driver's license, and current insurance.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to manage multiple tasks.
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and electronic mail proficiency.
- Goal-oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
