DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria & Vacancies Details:

Post Name Vacancies Qualification Age Limit Pay Scale

Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School: 2900 - Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education and Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary. Age: 18-40 years as on 1st Jan 2025. Pay: Rs.14000/- to Rs.70000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances.

Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools: 1600 - Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent), Graduate and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education and Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School. Age: 18-40 years as on 1st Jan 2025. Pay: Rs.14000/- to Rs.70000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances.

DEE Assam Assistant Teachers 2025 Selection Process:

Post Name Marking/ Weightage

Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers at Upper Primary Schools:

• 5% of marks secured in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Exam
• 5% of marks secured in the Graduation exam. In case of a candidate having a Major in any subject, the marks secured in a Major subject shall be taken into consideration
• 5% of marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) exam or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)
• 80% of marks secured in the Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) for Upper Primary Schools
• 5 Marks (Maximum) (For extra Circular Activity)

Assistant Teacher in Lower Primary Teacher:

• 5% of marks secured in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Examinations
• 5% of marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) examination or Diploma in Education (Special Education)
• 85% of marks secured in the Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary Schools
• 5 Marks (Maximum) (For extra Circular Activity)
