About the PositionPosition Description

Driftwood Christian Church needs a preacher who can teach faithfully to scripture. A pastor who will share shepherding with the elders, encourage the teachers, support the dynamic youth leaders, and engage all ages with kindness. A minister who will care about the attenders, appreciate the ag community work ethic and calendar, and feel enriched by large skies, God-created beauty, and bring inspiration to those present to invite others to celebrate God.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• Social Security offset paid by DCC (7.65 % of your gross salary [$3,825]). This will be considered income to the minister.
• Moving expenses: paid
• Cell phone: $400/year
• Matching retirement benefit up to $750/year
• Convention expenses covered up to yearly budgeted amount
• Housing and Utilities provided: parsonage, garage, water, garbage collection, internet and landline phone (minister will pay for electricity and gas)
• Continuing education reimbursed with approval
• A Dodge mini-van and a 14-passenger van are provided for church duties.
• Paid vacation shall be earned at 2 weeks per year per 10-year service and 3 weeks over 10 years of service.
