Position Details

Pay Range: $42,485.00/yr - $48,858.00/yr

Job Responsibilities
  • Review Medicaid applications and renewals for Home Care Services, ensuring documentation completeness and accuracy according to NYC, NYS, and Federal guidelines.
  • Complete case actions using the Welfare Management System (WMS), EDItS Plus, HRA One Viewer, eMedNY, and other systems, including consumer notices and system updates.
  • Determine if additional documentation or referrals are needed for eligibility decisions.
  • Consult with supervisors on complex cases to ensure timely processing within deadlines.

Salary Range: $42,485 - $48,858

Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of 30 college semester credits, or
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience in areas like social services, customer service, or navigating assistance programs, or a combination of education and experience substituting credits for experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to review case data and perform basic mathematical computations for Medicaid eligibility.
  • Critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
