2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer in order to support its government customer based in Herndon, Virginia. The Candidate will be deploying, operating, and maintaining web services within the Sponsor's cloud environment. The candidate will also be operating as part of the Sponsor's A&A process and supporting/advising the team appropriately. Additionally the candidate will be enhancing, operating, and maintaining UIs. Candidate needs experience evaluating data, creating new data models, and translating data into existing data models. Lastly, the candidate will be deploying and maintaining infrastructure associated with systems or capabilities.
The Contractor shall possess and provide the following required skills and demonstrated experience:
Demonstrated experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Demonstrated experience as a systems administrator for Linux and Windows servers and routinely updating to standard images.
Demonstrated experience developing from a virtual desktop.
Demonstrated experience configuring software for automated deployments in a cloud environment.
Demonstrated experience integrating COTS products with required capabilities such as audit, logging via API or other processes.
Demonstrated experience integrating COTS products with other functional capabilities such as web-based UIs, or COTS/GOTS products via API or other.
Demonstrated experience with MySQL, SquirrelSQL, or other relational DBs.
Demonstrated experience using Apache Spark, Tomcat, and Spring Framework.
Demonstrated experience using Elasticsearch.
Demonstrated experience establishing and completing the standup of a COTS tool in a cloud environment.
Demonstrated experience operating an ICD-508-compliant UI.
Demonstrated experience requesting and updating server certificates.
Demonstrated experience requesting and updating server certificates.
Demonstrated experience modeling metadata management.
Demonstrated experience modeling relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data.
Demonstrated experience applying data management standards.
Demonstrated experience creating data models
Demonstrated experience implementing data models
Demonstrated experience writing and updating documents associated with a security accreditation process.
Demonstrated experience exhibiting technical writing and editing skills with MS Office.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience writing security documentation, such as SSPs.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience creating and updating documentation for current and proposed security architectures
Demonstrated on-the-job experience documenting and implementing NIST 800-53 security controls.
Demonstrated experience with security accreditation tools.
Demonstrated experience with output from security assessment tools (AppDetective, WebInspect, Nessus, etc.) and the ability to understand and coordinate assessment of findings.
This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
