Cape Fox is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in support of a government customer. This position is contingent upon award.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $125,000 - $140,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

The Senior Scrum Master will lead Agile execution across cross-functional R&D teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and consistent delivery of high-quality results. Core responsibilities include facilitating key Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, as well as supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning activities. The Senior Scrum Master will configure and manage Jira and Confluence for tracking progress, managing sprints, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate will establish and sustain Agile cadence, promote team velocity, and foster a transparent, collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities include facilitating communication across teams and stakeholders, supporting backlog refinement and prioritization, and tracking Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement and alignment with project goals.

Core Duties:
  • Lead key Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Prepare and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and other enterprise-level Agile initiatives
  • Manage and support cross-functional R&D Agile teams to ensure alignment and productivity
  • Utilize and administer Jira and Confluence for Agile project tracking and documentation
  • Configure Jira Scrum and Kanban boards, create/manage issues, and initiate/close sprints
  • Establish and maintain Agile cadence, ensuring consistent delivery and team velocity
  • Promote a collaborative, transparent team environment, fostering open communication and mutual support
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination across team members and with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support backlog grooming, prioritization, and Agile metric tracking

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience with projects in the range of $100,000 to $10M
  • Highly Desired Qualifications (If applicable)
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

  • Must maintain and pass Background Investigation
