AVP Trade Services - Bilingual MandarinLocated onsite in ManhattanBase Salary: $65K – $150K (Based on Skills & Experience)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Trade Finance and Letter of Credit operations
- Knowledge of banking compliance and trade service operations
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review document presentation, payment, discounting, and related transactions
- Approve related transactions in the system
- Review Letter of Credit payments and document discounting work processed by the maker
- Release SWIFT messages in Swift Alliance
- Follow bank policies and departmental compliance and risk control procedures when developing new customer relationships and accepting transactions
- Adhere to KYC policies and procedures when onboarding new customers
- Stay updated on compliance and regulatory requirements through seminars and training (BSA, AML, KYC, etc.)
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate when necessary
- Assist the Section Head in coordinating the daily operations of the Export Section as assigned
