Job Title: Forecaddie

Rate of Pay: $17.25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a representative of The Grand Golf Club, demonstrating courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with staff, management, members, and guests.
• Adhere to all Club Safety Regulations and participate in ongoing safety seminars.
• Be capable of running for extended periods in hot and cold conditions.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of The Grand Golf Club course layout.
• Accurately read green complexes and communicate effectively with guests.
• Be knowledgeable of the Rules of Golf and etiquette.
• Wear a clean caddie uniform in accordance with The Grand Del Mar standards, including appropriate hat, shoes, and nametag (undershirt must not be visible).
• Assist the Player Services team when directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the golf course during rounds.
• Dress and change in the designated caddie area until the group has arrived and checked in with the golf shop.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the guest's tee time.
• Have full knowledge of The Grand Del Mar facilities.
• Abstain from smoking, alcohol, and drug use during work hours.
• Report any golf course maintenance issues to the Caddie Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of golf and playing skills.
• Understanding of golf rules and etiquette.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience required.
• Ability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Valid driving skills.
