We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Financial Services Assurance practice, able to sit in various offices. We seek someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare budgets for engagements.
  • Manage client engagements including pre-audit planning.
  • Review client accounting, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Conduct audit tests to verify financial statements.
  • Document workpapers and develop accounting worksheets.
  • Research technical issues.
  • Review staff workpapers and programs.
  • Identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Keep managers/partners informed.
  • Communicate with clients to complete audits efficiently.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of audit and/or assurance experience.
  • Experience with asset management clients.

Preferred/Desired:

  • CPA or progress towards it.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field.

Compensation:

In Minnesota, the salary range is $80,000 - $107,000 USD annually. In other locations, ranges may vary based on market and experience.
