Your Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Assistant, you'll assist with clinical procedures and administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly while delivering high-quality care.
- Assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare instruments and equipment for each patient visit
- Sterilize instruments following established infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide post-treatment instructions and support to patients
- Assist with scheduling, billing, and dental coding
- Work closely with pediatric and adult patients to ensure comfort and understanding
- Support prosthodontic and general dentistry procedures
- Help maintain a clean and organized treatment environment
What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or equivalent – Required
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Dental X-ray License – Required
- Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical imaging systems and patient documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially with pediatric patients
- Dependable, organized, and passionate about patient care
