Position: Structural Engineer
At DN Tanks, you will be responsible for executing designs and providing technical support from project development through tank construction. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, collaborative, and capable of supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to impact meaningful construction projects alongside a world-class team, utilizing industry-leading Finite Element Analysis programs.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis using SAP2000 and SAFE, and design new tank structures or rehabilitate existing ones in the water and wastewater industries.Review project requirements, plans, specifications, building codes, and standards to ensure complete, accurate, and cost-effective submittals.Recommend design improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness from project inception to completion.Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and construction teams to resolve design and engineering issues.Provide support and communication to field personnel during tank construction.Conduct periodic design compliance inspections at project sites.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; emphasis in structural engineering preferred.Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.Engineering in Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.3-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in water/wastewater industries.Experience supporting construction projects is a plus.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.Limited travel for project inspections.Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.Benefits
