In the role of Senior Trenchless Consultant, we'll count on you to:
Take responsibility for subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality controlPrepare the Project Management Plan or Construction Management PlanDevelop procedures for executing construction contract administration activities, including document, change, time, cost, quality, and safety management, and implement procedures in coordination with the project teamPerform additional construction management activities, including developing procurement-construction schedules, reviewing subcontract terms, performing constructability and value engineering reviews, estimating, schedule reviews, and project performance presentationsAdminister and manage construction activitiesMonitor progress of the overall design as related to construction requirementsPerform value engineering and constructability reviewsCoordinate local bidding efforts for quotes obtained in the fieldAssist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packagesCoordinate document managementReview or coordinate review of construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applicationsPrepare, issue, and negotiate Change OrdersReview and analyze baseline and updated construction schedulesControl the project budget and scheduleCoordinate and manage project quality assurance, control, and inspection servicesEnsure subcontractor compliance with the Health and Safety Program through communication and inspectionsPrepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and progress reportsCoordinate local bidding effortsTake responsibility for project setup and temporary facilitiesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, project management software, and web-based collaboration tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or closely related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, document, time, cost, quality, change management, and site safety
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders
