Job Description

Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role includes sourcing from various channels such as special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers for timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Support daily supervision of Team Members
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
  • Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Manage commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM for driver coverage

  • Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
  • Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
Experience and Education

Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous. High school diploma or GED required. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Work may be indoors or outdoors, exposing to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from $19.95 to $21.95. Benefits info available at this link. Position is eligible for sales commissions.
