Position descriptionThe Department of Professional and Continuing Education (Extension) at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary, part-time instructors to teach on-site and online courses for our Project Management Program. We seek applicants with current subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching in the following areas:

The department values diversity and excellence through research, teaching, and service. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The pool remains open until March 31, 2026, and applications are reviewed as needed. Note that applying to the pool does not guarantee a position.
Screening begins immediately after the review date, with some positions starting as early as summer 2025. Appointments are offered per course and may be renewed based on need, funding, and performance.
QualificationsBasic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or a professional certification in a relevant area.
Additional qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or over 5 years of experience, familiarity with LMS tools, and current PMP certification.
