Overview of the Design Studio Specialist role
You will inspire customers to express themselves through their home design, assist with sales at the cash wrap, and promote ongoing engagement with our brand.
Responsibilities
Assist clients through design consultations in-store and in-home, utilizing your expertise to drive sales.Conduct in-home consultations, including measuring and assessing living spaces.Create and present personalized design plans based on client needs and preferences.Stay informed about current sales and promotions to meet or exceed sales goals.Provide exemplary customer service including gift wrap, registry, special orders, and delivery arrangements.Demonstrate extensive product knowledge of the design studio assortment.Criteria
- Strong communication and customer follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage complex orders across sales channels.
- Design experience preferred.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. safely.
- Open availability for full-time or part-time schedules, including weekends and holiday seasons.
