Responsibilities

Purpose: Process and book travel requests for global travel, including corporate airlines, hotels, and transportation transactions. Assist and problem-solve for corporate travelers. Manage reservations, extensions, travel changes, and ticket refunds. Proficiency with Sabre, superior customer service skills, and flexibility in work schedule are required. This position is based at our office in South Hill, VA.

Responsible for:

  • Telephoning hotels and motels to verify monthly cost allocations and requesting customer folios (receipts) to match against invoices and employee names for accuracy.
  • Preparing and providing travel data for statistical reports for all travel performed by each company, division, and department.
  • Performing daily data entry into departmental report systems, including statistical compilation.
  • Gathering information and following procedures for booking all travel disciplines using proprietary software.
  • Assisting in personal travel arrangements for employees of M.C. Dean.
  • Compiling and reporting statistical data for all travel disciplines.
  • This role requires working on a rotating schedule.
  • Qualifications

    Education:

    • 6+ years of experience with a high school diploma
    • 0+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree

    Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for extended periods.
  • Sitting for long durations.
  • Reaching by extending hands or arms.
  • Finger dexterity for manipulating objects like keyboards.
  • Listening to and understanding spoken information.
  • Communicating ideas clearly in speech.
  • Reading and understanding written information.
  • Applying general rules to specific problems.
  • Understanding speech from others.
