Overview

Join Haskell's dynamic Construction & Manufacturing Team as a Project Manager specializing in Water/Wastewater projects. We are committed to fostering your growth and empowering you to reach your full potential through innovation and skill development.

In this role, you will manage subcontractors and vendors, oversee bid preparation, control costs, schedule activities, and interact with clients. Your responsibilities will directly impact project success and client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting project directors with responding to RFPs, including preparing conceptual estimates, schedules, and proposal documents; participating in client presentations if required.
  • Monitoring design document progress, participating in design review meetings, and providing input on constructability, scope, and cost changes.
  • Collaborating with construction leadership to establish project organization, including superintendent and PCE requirements.
  • Coordinating permits, inspections, and approvals with governing authorities and A/E.
  • Managing client relations, including progress meetings, correspondence, reports, change orders, and inquiries.
  • Preparing requisitions for payments and invoicing, maximizing project cash flow.
  • Securing owner acceptance for contract change orders, issuing modifications, and updating budgets accordingly.
  • Monitoring project progress, quality, and safety; working with superintendents to ensure compliance.
  • Mentoring construction personnel through on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment facilities and industrial infrastructure design and construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, with at least 5 years of construction management experience.
  • Strong resource management skills, including budgets, schedules, and materials handling.
  • Knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, and technology.
  • Excellent safety, organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as per project needs.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

This role requires mobility to visit various locations, with the ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are necessary for operating equipment and reading information. The role involves sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.
