We are looking for talented individuals that can take on the following responsibilities:
- Coordinating with our support staff to schedule site visits
- Conduct structural inspections to evaluate building systems, structures, and components (typically single-family residences, condos, commercial buildings, etc.) in the South Florida area
- Document observations via photograph and video
- Determine the cause, origin, and duration of reported damages
- Establish recommended procedures and methods for repair
Our ideal candidate would have the following capabilities:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE), Structural Engineer (SE), or Engineer Intern (EI) license in the State of Florida
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years in structural design, inspections, and/or forensic engineering
- Experience conducting forensic engineering investigations
- Familiarity with local code requirements and associated governing agencies
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Works well with colleagues and clients
- Self-motivated and organized
- High level of integrity, always conducting business in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way
- Willing to travel with personal vehicle
Additional compensation will be considered for preferred candidates with the following:
- Special Inspector (SI) license
- UAS drone pilot's license
- Level II Certified Thermographer
