Job Description:
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates from drawings and specifications
- Oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects, from concept to closeout ensuring project is completed on time and within budget
- Manage document control, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
- Manage and estimate multiple projects concurrently
- Identify and manage risks, including lead time assessments and site assessments
- Assist in RFP package preparation
- Develop new clients while supporting and maintaining existing clients
- Participate in trade shows and industry organizations
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Well versed in all aspects of project management including bidding, estimating, subcontracting, permitting, cost management, project documentation, scheduling, billing and close out
- Strong leadership qualities able to mentor PE's and APM's
- Ability to manage a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Bachelor's degree with a preference in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 15 years experience as a project manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Project
- Good understanding of all trades-including MEP
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Client centered approach with a focus on customer development and satisfaction
- Possess a “do whatever it takes” attitude
- Creative thinker who is willing to think outside the box to achieve client goals
- Autonomous individual who enjoys working with a team
- Self-starter
- Excellent time management skills, fully able to set own schedule
- LEED accreditation is a plus
