PositionOperations Director
Manage and supervise subordinate employees, ensuring they are prepared for their tasks and have all the tools necessary to perform their job duties. Encourage the professional development of employees. Define employees' career improvement steps, propose promotions, and define corrective actions if needed. Perform annual performance reviews for subordinate employees in cooperation with the company's President and General Manager of Global Operations. Manage department workloads on a quarterly basis. Recruit new employees. Develop and optimize processes, tools, and systems to improve the daily performance of the company. Provide clients with after-sales topics, including information about product parts and repairs, guaranteeing consistent high-quality service. Provide direction to the U.S. After Sales Representative to maintain and promote customer satisfaction. Stay informed on customer feedback regarding product and service quality. Build and establish good working relationships with clients to promote client retention. Resolve client issues and complaints concerning purchased products or repair services. Monitor contract details to notify clients of pending expirations and help process renewals. Ensure the sales team meets set targets. Provide periodic reports to management on all after-sales activities and customer issues. Remain informed of the general status of the issues, particularly the more complex backorders. Evaluate and decide if specific issues require urgent management. Manage the warehouse, guaranteeing material and information flows properly. Ensure the correct use of all the warehouse area. Oversee monthly analysis per stock management review. Manage, supervise, and develop the repair center. Guarantee the material and information flow for all items to repair in Chicago. Oversee monthly analysis per repair trends and case history check with the company's Repair Techs. Collaborate with company consultants to establish and keep safety procedures up to date. Define resources needed in operation departments based on workload and forecast. Supervise 12 employees. Travel Required: 10% travel across North America.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, 2 years of experience as a Global Operations Specialist, Operations Manager, Site Manager, or an alternate acceptable related occupation.
