Job Description

Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Electronic Systems. The Logistics Manager will support the International Airborne Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) Division delivering airborne C2/Battle Management capability to coalition partners in support of US Combatant Commander Theater Battle Management Plans, humanitarian relief and homeland defense operations.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager will directly support the Japan AWACS Branch overseeing multiple programs. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program.
• Collaborate with material support managers and product support manager to maintain comprehensive support plans.
• Participate in the development of maintenance and life cycle logistics plans.
• Develop and execute logistics and sustainment plans.
• Identify and help mitigate sustainment problem areas.
• Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists.
• Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics.
• Assist with planning, evaluation, and implementation of program acquisition and sustainment strategies.
• Develop program management documentation to support all phases of the acquisition and sustainment life cycle.
• Develop briefings to support acquisition decision milestones.
• Provide expert logistics inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs).
• Assist with development of program office estimates and financial management studies.
• Develop logistics planning documents.
• Support development of system technical trade studies and other documentation.
• Assist the Government in performing source selection tasks.

Job RequirementsQualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational program and 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in the DoD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree from an accredited educational program and 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting.

Job Type: Regular Full-time

Security Clearance: Secret

Schedule: 40 Hrs/week

Work Location: Hanscom AFB, MA

Travel: 0-10%
