We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:* Perform daily equipment inspections* Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors* Controls material taken into paver and the depth of material being distributed through the paver and smoothness of mat* Ability to communicate with supervisor and testing technician if there are issues with laydown operations* Position is expected to assist in operating other pieces of paving equipment including asphalt rollers, power brooms, skid steer loaders, and loaders as needed* Must be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends as needed* Must be willing to do physical labor* Perform other duties as directed by supervisorMinimum Qualifications:* Must be willing to work in all weather conditions* Valid driver's license but a CDL is a preferred* Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background* Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and rakingBenefits:* Company paid medical, dental and vision* 401K* Paid Time Off* Holiday Pay* Life Insurance* Short Term DisabilityHow To Apply:Knife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
