Minimum teaching load is twenty-four credit hours annually. Courses are delivered face-to-face, online, and hybrid.* Maintain required office hours and provide academic advisement to assigned students.* Participate in the development, review, and improvement of curriculum.* Participate in departmental, college-wide, and university-wide committees and activities.* Serve as faculty advisor for a student organization.* Work collaboratively with other faculty on schedule development, marketing events, student and faculty recruitment, retention efforts, and other departmental or college-wide activities.* Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications* Master's degree in content area or closely related with at least 18 graduate credit hours from a regionally accredited university.* Considerable professional experience in the discipline at a high managerial or supervisory level.* Commitment to teaching excellence, innovative curriculum development and academic advising for students in the college.* Willingness to teach at both the main campus and the CSU Dayton location.* Demonstrate potential for developing publishable research.* Experience and interest in teaching students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.* Ability to use technology in instruction and advising.Preferred Qualifications* Ph.D. or earned doctorate in related discipline.* Experience in developing and teaching online courses.* Demonstrated ability to generate grant proposal.* A record of published research in peer-reviewed journals.Posting Date 08/19/2024 Closing Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Position Category Faculty - Term Appointment Budgeted Annual Salary Commensurate with experience
