General Purpose:The fountain operator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the preparation of associated fountain products.Essential (primary) Functions:The primary responsibility of the fountain operator is to prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes in accordance with Steak n Shake specs utilizing the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers. Monitoring equipment temperatures. Restocking, cleaning/sanitizing the fountain area while maintaining security, safety, uniform and company standards at all times.Secondary Functions:Any and all other tasks assignedEssential Physical Requirements:* Good Vision, general and close* Good hearing* Manual Dexterity* Standing, bending, stretching and walking throughout shift* Push and pull heavy objects* Lift and carry 30 pounds* Maintain good personal hygiene/uniformEssential social & Mental Requirements:* Basic reading and math skills* Works well with others/team player* Maintains composure while under stress* Plans and organizes* Retains verbal requests* Retains fountain item knowledge
