Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our clinical recruitment and conduct solutions to pharmaceutical organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of the clinical trial process, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the pharmaceutical sector.Client Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions to meet their clinical recruitment and conduct requirements.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within pharmaceutical organizations.Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our clinical recruitment and conduct solutions, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals and client needs.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client satisfaction.Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, tracking progress towards sales goals and identifying areas for improvement.Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical trial industry in a quota-carrying role selling clinical technology.Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Skills:- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the clinical trial process and regulatory environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Hubspot CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
