We do it because it's right!Job Description:Under the general direction of the Regional Services Manager, this position supports the Regional Services department in the development and maintenance of the Hill Physicians Provider NetworkEssential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for analyzing/tracking targeted practices for continuous process improvement for the Practice Support Advisors as it relates to Quality/Cost of Care initiatives, policies & procedures.
  • Liaison between PSAs and internal departments to triage issues encountered in the field and escalate any system-wide impacts
  • Support Regional Service's participation in a variety of corporate initiatives that may include Care Management, health education, HIPAA compliance, marketing / membership initiatives, and market development initiatives. Participate in designing initiatives based on knowledge of network operations. Participate in tracking and distributing information via PSAs
  • Supports Regional Services' areas of focus, including but not limited to preparation of materials to educate providers on P4, specialty bonuses; review of and education on payment methodology; review and explanation of patient satisfaction survey results with physicians and staff.
  • Liaison for the Provider Data Management Team ensuring provider data is accurate in the eVIPs system. Coordinate and manage incoming membership requests confirming all data elements are entered and distributed to the Network Management Consultants and Regional Services Manager for review and recommendations.
Non-Essential Responsibilities:
  • Mentor new RS Team members
  • Other projects/duties as assigned
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree highly desired, or minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a managed care, clinical practice or healthcare environment.
  • Strong verbal and written-communication skills
  • Aptitude, familiarity or experience with current healthcare technology applications for physician offices, such as practice management systems, electronic medical records, and/or billing systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong client orientation and demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Self-directed and able to work productively independently, yet able to function well in a team-oriented environment
