Lounge Technician

Job Description: - Install, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment in our lounges, including but not limited to sound systems, lighting systems, and video equipment- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly for events and activities- Keep inventory of all equipment and supplies and order replacements as needed- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for equipment upgrades- Train and supervise junior technicians and provide guidance and support as neededQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in audiovisual technology preferred- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or hotel setting- Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment, including sound systems, lighting systems, and video equipment- Familiarity with various software and systems used in audiovisual technology- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededIf you are a highly skilled and experienced Lounge Technician looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
