Title: Workday Program DirectorLocation: MidwestTravel: 50% - likely a few days onsite each week in the beginning. More flex for remote work once the team is establishedStart Date: June 2025Duration: Through March 2027Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Workday Program Director to lead a large-scale Workday implementation for a Midwest-based client. The Program Director will serve as the client's strategic representative, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external Workday implementers to ensure alignment, accountability, and execution across multiple workstreams.This role will require up to 50% travel, particularly during the early stages of the program, and will be expected to establish strong executive-level relationships and provide program updates directly to the C-suite.Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client-side leader for the Workday program, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and implementation teams
• Exhibit strong executive presence and represent the program confidently at the C-suite level, including regular reporting on progress, risks, and milestones
• Provide hands-on program management across all phases of the Workday implementation, spanning multiple functional workstreams
• Act as the agent of the client, advocating for client interests and holding implementation partners accountable
• Foster effective engagement and communication with both internal stakeholders and external implementation partners
• Collaborate closely with the implementation firm's program and project management teams to coordinate efforts and resolve issues
• Drive program governance and ensure delivery remains aligned with strategic objectives
• Demonstrate the ability to lead complex enterprise programs to successful outcomes
