POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an Operations position responsible for supervising the activities associated with warehouse operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the supervision of order selection, product replenishment, order loading, ensuring safety and security of the warehouse and providing management and direction to assigned warehouse staff. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 10AM - 6PM - Must work every Saturday
  • Off Sunday + Weekday

BENEFITS

  • Salary: $78,000/yr. - $85,000/yr.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct shipping and receiving audits daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed and that materials (empty cases, product, equipment etc.) are handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss.
  • Assist with the training of new employees, including cross training of existing employees.
  • Maintain ongoing interaction with truck drivers, warehouse and office team; keep open communication channels with employees by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitor employee morale and safety culture especially in the dock areas.
  • Coordinate and set up customized shipping operations for specific wholesale customers.
  • Assist Shipping Manager with preparation of the warehouse for shipping operation.
  • Comply with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, FDA, USDA, IFS).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
  • Associate Degree and two or more years of experience working in a warehouse environment with management or supervisory experience.
  • Practical experience with MS Office - Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience and ability to train on the use of Inventory management systems.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate projects in collaboration with other managers.
