Transportation Compliance Manager| Fort Worth, TX

Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Transportation Compliance Manager to support a top-tier client in the logistics and transportation industry. This critical role ensures full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and federal transportation safety regulations. Were looking for a highly organized, detail-driven professional with deep knowledge of fleet operations, driver safety, and audit preparedness. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a respected and growing company.

Responsibilities

Ensure company-wide compliance with all DOT and FMCSA (49 CFR) regulations

Maintain, update, and audit driver qualification files (DQFs), medical cards, and MVRs

Monitor and enforce Hours of Service (HOS) compliance via ELDs or paper logs

Track and manage vehicle inspections, maintenance records, and registration documentation

Coordinate DOT drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, post-accident, etc.)

Lead DOT, FMCSA, and internal audits from preparation to follow-up

Oversee IFTA reporting, DVIRs, and DOT number management

Conduct accident and incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting

Develop and deliver training on DOT compliance, safety, and regulatory changes

Monitor CSA scores and implement corrective action plans for continuous improvement

Serve as liaison between operations and drivers to communicate regulatory updates

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in DOT compliance, fleet safety, or transportation compliance

Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, HOS rules, and 49 CFR Parts 40 & 391

Proven experience managing DQFs, MVRs, ELD data, and drug/alcohol compliance

Experience preparing for and overseeing DOT audits

High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Excellent communication skills for training, coaching, and leadership

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, compliance software, and reporting systems

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Able to work in a fast-paced office or warehouse-adjacent environment

Occasional local travel required for site visits or audit support

Pay

$70K - $75K Per Year
