Structural Engineer - Ripple Effect Consulting : Job Details

Job Title: Structural Engineer Location: Collinsville, IL Salary range: $90-$130k DOE Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and plan demolition of structural systems and components using various materials including structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gauge steel.
• Prepare construction and repair drawings, as well as demolition plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Conduct visual structural inspections and write detailed reports.
• Provide construction review and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required (Structural Engineering (SE) license preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software, with experience in RISA being ideal.
• Thorough understanding of IBC and other national standard codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
