Infosys is seeking an SRE Principal Consultant. The role involves managing maintenance and support for custom IT applications across the SRE Portfolio. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, excellent communication, and support experience in managing support and management projects. Leadership experience and a good understanding of Incident and Problem management are essential.

Location requirements: Candidate must be within commuting distance of Overland Park, Kansas or Bellevue, WA or willing to relocate. Travel to project sites may be required.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; three years of progressive experience can substitute for each year of education.
• Minimum 11 years of IT experience.
• SRE mindset in production support, focusing on proactive issue detection using observability tools.
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools like Splunk (including APM and O11y), AppDynamics.
• Experience as incident commander, diagnosing complex issues, and leading incident calls with technical teams and SMEs.
• Knowledge of databases, networks, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes.
• Experience with APM, NMON, Wireshark.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Grafana, RedMetrics, 1000Eyes.
• Understanding of VMs, load balancers, firewalls, API Gateways.
• Experience with containerization, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with UEM, synthetic monitoring, system administration, networking, cloud architecture, and application management.
• Programming skills in Java and Python for triaging application issues.
• Experience troubleshooting databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Strong monitoring and observability skills across backend systems, databases, and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to handle proactive support activities, incident triage, and work in rotation.

Estimated annual salary for Bellevue, WA: $114K - $166K.
