This is what is all about.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer to join our technology team in supporting a high-performance, mission-critical ETF application. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and consistent performance of SQL Server RDBMS systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in T-SQL development and database performance tuning, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.You'll be instrumental in building high-quality database solutions, optimizing existing systems, and developing procedures to support data-driven business operations. Based in either Pittsburgh, PA or New York City, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has a passion for data integrity, performance, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust SQL Server databases to support business applications and reporting.
• Use T-SQL to write efficient stored procedures, functions, and scripts.
• Analyze and optimize existing SQL queries to improve performance and scalability.
• Interpret business requirements to design effective reporting and data solutions.
• Develop scripts and tools for data migration and transformation.
• Create and maintain scheduled management reports and dashboards.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues and exceptions, particularly around asset movements.
• Support SQL Server environments including security, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
• Solid understanding of HTML and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with NoSQL/NewSQL databases and their practical application.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and contribute in a team environment.
