Role Overview

As a Dynatrace Log Management and Analytics Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the sales team, providing technical support and expertise in observability, specifically in Log Management and Analytics. Your responsibilities include delivering demos, managing POCs both onsite and remote, building relationships with customers, and supporting RFIs & RFPs. You will collaborate with teams such as Dynatrace's innovation labs, Expert Services, CSMs, and marketing.

About You

You should be ambitious, confident, self-motivated, with experience in a technical customer-facing role or as a Solutions Engineer. Passion for technology, technical sales, and articulating value is essential. Additional qualities include excellent communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot, manage multiple projects, and a willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Dynatrace's products at trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and support existing accounts.
  • Lead technical POCs and cloud architecture discussions.
  • Present to C-suite executives and support sales stages.
  • Deliver demonstrations at events and support partner activities.
  • Gather customer feedback for product improvements.
  • Share knowledge and develop best practices within the team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience with observability tools like FluentBit, OpenTelemetry, Logstash, etc.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL), web technologies, programming/scripting languages, OS (Windows/Linux), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and automation tools.
Benefits
  • Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000, based on experience and location.
