We are searching for a Solar & Storage Arc Flash Analyst (Sr Electrical Engineer) on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). The candidate will join the Power Generation Division (PGD). The Senior Engineer will apply diverse engineering knowledge to a broad range of assignments related to solar power generation and battery energy storage. The role requires independent decision-making on engineering issues and processes, with supervision only on high-level objectives and critical issues.

This position involves interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments, including exploring subject areas, defining scope, investigating, and developing innovative concepts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with equivalent experience in electrical systems.
• 5+ years of experience in solar energy.
• Experience with electrical system modeling software (PSSE, PSCAD, SKM, ETAP, etc.).

Desired qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced modeling expertise with ETAP software.
• 5 years' experience with arc flash modeling.
