Software Engineering Manager - RightClick : Job Details

Our client provides sales, marketing, and customer engagement solutions focused on the health insurance industry. They are a well-established company specializing in customer acquisition and retention, with a strong presence across multiple locations. They are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers in modernizing and enhancing our clients' online and backend platforms using .NET technologies. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Software Engineering Manager's Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee and lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Define technical strategies and best practices for modernizing legacy systems and developing new solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and implement software design principles, security best practices, and performance optimizations.

Software Engineering Manager's Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related industry experience.
• Expertise in C# and .NET technologies, including .NET Core and ASP.NET.
• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience including coding, maintenance, architecture and design.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a strong technical culture.
