Job Description: Software Engineer

Oklo seeks a Software Engineer to assist in designing, developing, and deploying advanced fission power technology. A nuclear background isn't required, but a strong aptitude for learning and curiosity are essential. This role involves working in a fast-paced startup environment with diverse challenges related to reactor design and analysis.

Responsibilities

Data Management: Transforming and optimizing storage of reactor data and physics results.

CI/CD Pipelines: Designing and configuring pipelines for multiphysics analyses.

Tool Development: Building tools for reactor engineers to visualize and evaluate reactor designs.

Simulation Integration: Integrating simulation tools into analysis pipelines.

Physics Kernel Development: Implementing physics kernels to solve unresolved problems or improve models.

Reactor Optimization: Developing optimization schemes and experiments for design modifications.

Process Improvement: Enhancing process efficiencies in reactor design through software solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of work experience.

Fluency in Python.

Proficiency in Git.

Experience with CI/CD.

Compensation and Benefits
