Job Description:

We seek a seasoned leader skilled in technology, application deployment, and customer controls to join our team as a Software Application Engineering Manager - Cloud Development.

This role involves leading a team responsible for developing and validating secure software applications, with a focus on emerging cloud technologies and platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive cloud maintenance knowledge, staff management experience, and industry expertise to keep us at the forefront of innovation. The manager will influence the build-out and deployment of secure applications.

Objectives of this role:

• Lead the engineering team to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Adopt best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Ensure high performance, uptime, and quality of applications.
• Manage cloud environments aligned with security guidelines (DevSecOps).

Additional responsibilities include:

• Develop and deploy cloud/hybrid-cloud applications, including large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Participate in all software development lifecycle phases for cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including analysts, developers, and data scientists.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications required include:

• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or related STEM field
• 8+ years of experience leading cloud solution teams on Azure or AWS

Preferred qualifications include:

• Postgraduate degree in related fields
• Active US Government Security Clearance (Secret level)
• Experience with containers (Kubernetes), web services, API, REST, C# (.NET Core), HTML5
• Web development skills with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery, React, Angular)
• Azure certification
